NO FLASH! I think Linus broke the flash on my camara, unless he somehow changed the settings on it... but i've already gone through to see if i could fix it. I'm unsure about all the details about my camara, and i've never been able to turn off the flash before, so i though i would sift through the manual today and see if i could fix it. With that being said- here are a couple of photos of me and the boys. Josh had turned on a YouTube film of a guy making fun of Batman because he talks in that crazy low voice... well it had joker in it too and the boys were totally scared because of his crazy mouth, so i went into the bathroom with them and showed them that Joker just didnt know how to put on lipstick... they bought it!

Well- the project is done- and the results are WONDERFUL! I loved making this. I had the idea of using these squares for a baby blanket around the new years, but started with adorable girl colors... however, when natalie told me her baby color scheme, i thought those colors would be great in this style. I was up till midnight on friday finishing it up, and when i was done i was sooo pleased! Can't wait to finish the girly one i started making... wow... over a month ago now!

So, i just felt like addings that title to this post. It really doesnt have anything to do with it :) This week i created a group on Facebook, called "Fan of BALLOFYARN- Karen Abegglen" I was pleasantly surprised at how many of my friends added it! I created it to show off my etsy stuff, and just be a goof.
About the previous post, i accomplished so much of my list, i dont know how- but i did! Now i have a ton to do today! i have to finish Natalies (my lovely sister) baby blanket for her shower tomorrow... and its gonna take forever! But, we do what we gotta do.

So, we have a few Christmas Eve traditions, which include; Opening a present. Summer sausage, crackers and cheese for dinner. The Christmas Pickle. And last but not least, putting the kids to bed early! This year, before dinner was served, we had the boys make Marshmallow Men and then find the Christmas Pickle, and open up a family present. Josh and I picked out "Hortan Hears a Who", which we watched while snacking on all the fun cheeses, crackers, fruits and of course summer sausage.
Dont you just LOVE the Christmas Season?!?!?! :)

I had a lot of fun this holiday season, not just making homemade items for my family but MANY others as well. I enjoyed crocheting for my sister, for my mom, and my sister in law, and even my niece. I also had a couple fun opportunities to do custom items for people on etsy! I sold a ton from my site (all the good stuff! haha), and i even made items for my neighbors (i crocheted items and made sculpy clay figures- wish i had gotten pictures of those!!!).
All of them were a blast to do, and my skills are really coming along, but i have to admit i had one favorite above all, and that is my crocheted SANTA BEARD that i made for Grandpa (dad) Hales! :) So, even though i dont have pictures of dad wearing it. i DO have pictures of Josh modeling it for me :) Haha
